color of the year: tangerine

When I first heard Tangerine was the color of the year, I frowned. Literally. Maybe it’s because I enjoyed having a year that was all about pink? But, then I thought about it and decided tangerine isn’t all that bad . . . actually, it’s kinda likeable. My favorite nail polish color is tangerine. Some of my work has the color tangerine. I’m smitten with red hair, which is kinda tangerine-ish. Pink and tangerine go well together. And my go-to cardigan that I wear over, over and over again, is tangerine. So, I’m sorry, Tangerine, for frowning at you. You deserve your own year.

Those storms were SO crazy! I still hear the sirens ringing in my ears. A nap definitely might be in order today.
