come candy corn

I tasted candy corn for the first time a couple years ago, and was quite smitten. [Note: Not all candy corn is the same. I think Brach’s is the best.] During our initial courtship, I would eat a bag a day. (I wouldn’t eat breakfast or lunch, so my logic was that it would balance out . . . it didn’t, so don’t try it). The buttery yellow part is my favorite. This year, it’s my goal only to eat one bag (okay, maybe 2?) for the entire fall season. I decided to put them in a jar. Hopefully, this will help me not eat as many. Wish me well.

    if you like sweet/salty, you could mix them with dry-roasted or spanish peanuts – SO GOOD!

    I am able to stop eating most sweets before I get a stomachache, but not candy corn… it’s ridiculous, really. But mmmmmmmmm. Worth it right up until the moment of stomachache : )
