free shell clutch pattern / ann kelle

The other day while at Target, a woman stopped me to ask for my opinion on a gift she was purchasing for her 16 year old daughter. I gave her my little opinion. Then, another stressed woman came up and I helped her pick out several outfits for her young adult daughter. I was there awhile. Helping these women shop for their daughters. And no, I don’t have a part-time job at Target. Well, if these women sewed, this clutch would be something I would tell them to make for their daughters. It is so, so pretty. The fabric used in this clutch is my metallic chevron, which comes in lots of yummy colors. It would be perfect for a holiday party. My friends over at Robert Kaufman have a FREE tutorial which you can find here. Happy sewing and try not to stress over the holidays!

Were you wearing red?? I always get asked a million questions when I wear red to target because they think I work there!!

Thanks for sharing the pattern, that’s an adorable clutch!

Ha!! You would think that would be why they stopped me. But, I was wearing blue and black with a beanie on my head and I had a cart full of things. It was funny though. Have a great day!
