i-spy ornaments tutorial

December 10, 2019

Merry-Almost-Christmas! It truly is one of my favorite times of the year. I typically don’t decorate my office, but I decided I REALLY wanted to deck the halls in my studio this year. I first started out with traditional red and green decorations for my studio. But, I ended up returning everything because it just didn’t work. I was kinda stumped at what to do next. I wanted something different and meaningful for the tree in my office. Within the next day or so, I saw these ADORABLE ornaments Kimberly of Crafting Cheerily made with my I-Spy fabric panel. I immediately knew they would be perfect for my space. I was SO right! When Kimberly sent me a set of the ornaments, I almost cried. (Ha!) Every time I see them I smile. They would be so cute in a kids room or an elementary classroom. Plus, they’re kid friendly (no shattering bulbs!). Make yourself a set using the free tutorial here. For my set of ornaments, we mixed and matched two panels (Spring and Bermuda colors). It created the rainbow color theme I wanted. Enjoy the pictures!
