The “Great Giveaway” (week 2)

greatgiveaway2panel485 It’s week two of “The Great Giveaway.”  Thank you for all your entries in the first giveaway. I read each and every one of your comments. It was really great reading what you’re thankful for and some comments bought tears to my eyes!  This week we are giving away two Urban Zoologie panels and two fat quarter bundles which includes fabric from my Remix and Urban Zoologie collections. It’s a total of almost 6 yards of fabric! To enter, simply leave a comment sharing what you’d make with the fabric. The deadline to enter is Sunday, November 23rd (midnight).  (Also, you might want to keep a lookout on my Instagram page. You never know when I might be running another giveaway 😉 ) UPDATE: Giveaway is now closed! Thank you to everyone who entered. It was GREAT hearing everything you’re thankful for.     Such cuteness! If I didn’t make a baby quilt, this fabric would be great for a quiet book. Each animal would make a page on its own, with maybe a border embroidered with the animal name. So bright and cheerful!

We spent a lot of time there with our daughter, and it just means so much to me to be able to give something special to these families in such hard times.     I am going to make corn bundles for my coworkers.They will be filled with corn, sewn up in a long square to be used cold as an ice pack or hot in the microwave.
    I then add one of my essential oils by Doterra.It makes a nice gift from the heart.

  108. Everyone is making quilts for babies, but I would make blankets for shelter dogs and cats for my local rescue organizations. Around the holidays it is so easy to forget about the homeless and abandoned animals on the streets.

    I would love to say a charity quilt or something similar but in reality I know that my children would see this and I would be making bags, pillowcases or clothing for their teddies and dolls.
    I can’t understand why I never get any sewing done for me, but I love encouraging my children to sew and this means I have to sew with them and sew what they want to make.
    Bliss is time to sew the projects I want to sew but happiness is sewing with a child on my knee, helping!!

    I would make so many things. Several girly bibs and knotted headband set, for boys few bibs and bow ties, maybe some flags garland. And, few soft toys like taggie ball or cube. Paired with some fleece I have, it would make great tube scarf for kids! From leftovers, I would make fabric pacifier clips. Really a lot to do with such a great fabric!!
