free christmas tree skirt tutorial

Each year I’ve added something new to my Christmas decor. My Christmas tree had plenty of ornaments, but I felt it was missing something. Like a present without a bow on top or something. So, this year I worked with Andrea of Knitty Bitties in creating a Christmas tree skirt. I knew I wanted something bright and cheery. I designed the skirt and Andrea made it a reality. Isn’t it happy? I used a bunch of my Remix chevron and dot prints, as well as lots of Kona solids. Picking out the colors was one of my favorite parts in designing this quilt. Andrea also made it reversible, which was icing on the cake.  To make your own happy Christmas tree skirt, head here for a free tutorial.  And a huge thank you to Andrea!
