ready, set, go!

I’m so happy to share with you my newest line, Ready, Set, Go! This line is for all the little guys. My inspiration behind this line was my cousin’s new little baby. His nursery is decorated in planes, which isn’t surprising because the men in my family have a love for all things aviation. My dad has a trillion planes in his study. He reads novels about aviation, watches TV shows about aviation, attends flight shows, etc. He LOVES aviation. To pay honor to him and all the other men in my family, I decided to do a design of planes. However, once I sat down to design planes, it led to helicopters, then trains, etc. So, here’s the finished line, Ready, Set, Go! Set to be in stores March 2011. Oh, and did I mention, it’s also 100% organic cotton? Just a little added bonus.

I love it! I am so happy about this. My son is obsessed with trains, plans, cars, trucks – basically anything with wheels. And I don’t know the gender of baby II on the way in March but due to some wayward comments of the ultrasound tech I suspect baby may be a boy. So YAY and thank you for designing some very adorable boyish fabric. There is so much out there for the girls, this is great for the rest of us 🙂 Can’t wait to get my hands on it.

I just put myself on the “please alert me when available” list at the Fat Quarter Shop. I have been looking for something cute, bright and boy-ish to make a quilt for my nephew; this will be PERFECT! Gorgeous fabric.
We just purchased a product on Etsy made with the Cars Ready Set Go Fabric, was the car fabric rolled out first? Or are they all out now? Im confused.
