the pink olive

This store is the icing to my cupcake. Seriously. The Pink Olive is located in the East Village. I went to this area specifically to visit this store. And it was worth the trip. I was in there for such a long time, admiring all of the books, stuffed animals, scented soaps, and stationery . . . all which spoke to my heart. Many of the things Grace, founder & chief buyer, has in the store are things I’ve either “pinned” or “hearted” on etsy. So, seeing them in person was quite special for me. I was like a kid in a toy store.

In addition to carrying the works of designers across the US, there’s also a great selection of things from local New York designers, such as Greenwich Press and Knot & Bow They even have an exclusive collection from the Walnut Animal Society. (My favorite is Ruthie The Deer. Love her leg warmers!) So, if you love stationery, design or are a foodie, this is a must-see store in New York.
