tutorial: super kids quilt (part 2)
August 15, 2013Today I’m sharing with you pictures of the girls version of the Super Kids quilt. Every girl should have a quilt like this. This quilt tells a story of friends joining together to be super heros, plus there’s hearts and the color pink. It’s perfect! The heart shields are my favorite part . . . we all need heart shields at times. What’s your favorite part? Find the free tutorial here. A special thanks to Laurie for making such super quilts! You knocked it out of the park, my friend! Be sure to read all about Laurie’s experience in making this quilt on her blog.

I really need to quilt. I’ve made a rag quilt but that is the extent of my quilting expertise. This is incredible. I bet whatever little girl ends up with this quilt on her bed will freak out.
Laurie did a great job! And sounds like her little girl, Charlotte is loving it!
Thanks for the kind words Kelle! Charlotte especially loves the Super Girls – she actually likes to roll around and shriek gleefully when I lay this quilt on the floor for her.
Big hugs, Laurie!
I LOVE this!! So bright and fun!!
Ditto. “Bright and fun” make the best quilts!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this quilt!!! I have been looking for something like this for my daughter (She had to have open heart surgery when she was three weeks old), I use ‘hearts’ with everything I make her and I LOVE that the superheros ’emblem’ is the heart!!! I LOVE this quilt!!!
Laurie did a great job on this quilt. And it sounds like this would be the perfect quilt for your “super hero” daughter.
