holly jolly christmas stocking
December 03, 2015A couple of weeks ago, over lunch, my Dad asked me what the my color scheme was going to be for my Christmas decor. I had been telling him how I was going to put up my Christmas tree early this year (like before Thanksgiving!), which he thought was a great idea. My Mom changes her colors up from year to year. But, I’ve been working on this “happy-bright-colorful” theme for awhile. And I haven’t grown tired of it yet! Each year, I add a new decor item. One year, it was a Christmas tree skirt. Another year, it was painted ornaments. This year, it was stockings!
My friend Lindsay has the most adorable Holly Jolly Christmas Stocking tutorial. She made me three stockings out of my Rainbow Remix fabric. And I couldn’t wait to hang them up! Find the pattern here.
We mixed in matched the fabrics. I think they turned out great!
