pixelated heart quilt
June 24, 2013A week or so ago I mentioned that I’ve been finding hearts everywhere. It’s true! I’ve found them in street, heart stickers stuck on the bottom of my foot, and random objects shaped like hearts. I have hearts (and the color pink) in just about every room in my house. So, it would only make since if I had this fabulous pixelated heart quilt. Kelly made this for me. I picked the fabric, but she did everything else. Pretty awesome, right? Another happy quilt to my collection. To make your own pixelated heart quilt, head to the Blue Elephant Stitches blog for tips.
I picked my Remix chevrons for the binding. However, the way Kelly cut the fabric, it looks like a Greek key pattern. So cool!

This is just perfect! I’ve been staring at my charm squares from multiple swaps for awhile now and I think this quilt is calling for these charms.
Thank you! It’s such a fun quilt!
So happy I found this! Will be the perfect guestbook quilt for my craftiness and my techie fiance, who also loves pixel art!
Oh, that will be so cute!
I love this quilt! Do you know if she used 3″ squares like Blue Elephant or larger?
It’s one of my favorite quilts. The squares are approximately 4 3/8. Here’s a free pattern of the quilt from Blue Elephant Stitches.
