Christmas is my favorite time of the year! And although I like to receive gifts, I love giving them, too. So, for eight weeks I’ll be visiting various blogs and giving away goodies. December 6: J&O Fabrics
December 13: Adored Austin
December 13: Hawthorne Threads
December 20: Spool
December 27: Fat Quarter Shop
January 3: The Fabric Shoppe
While walking down an aisle at Target, this album caught my attention. “Hey, that looks EXACTLY like one of my designs” I thought. Confused a bit, I picked up the album and flipped it around to see the name on the back. “Oh, it is MY design!” What a lovely surprise.

Look at all of the cuddly things Cherie of The Red Pistachio has made out of my fabric. These would be the perfect baby gift! Don’t they look so cozy and soft? Super-duper cute.
Remember this adorable girl? Christine Moyers created a pattern of the shirt and is offering it to you free. You can download it right here.

Thank you to everyone who entered. I couldn’t just pick one person! So, I picked three. Yummy paper goodies coming your way!

I like carrying snacks in my purse. When I went to my sewing class the other day, my bag was full of almonds, carrots, and other little snacks. Kim of Simply Practical has made carrying snacks fun! Her bags are reusable and perfect for sandwiches and snack bags. Did you recognize the fabric? Visit her shop here.
With my recent move, I found that I have tons and tons of stuff in my studio closet. Note card sets, scrapbooks, photo albums, etc. Lots of paper goodies that I would LOVE to share with you. If you’d like something, leave a comment and I’ll pick a couple of winners. Giveaway ends: Thursday, November 4th at midnight.
I love seeing what people are making with my fabric. Here’s something that recently brought a HUGE smile to my face. The cutest little purses by Daphne of Octopurse. So pretty. Visit her shop to see all the designs and styles.
Wondering where I’ve been? I recently moved. New city + new home. The building I moved into is over 200 years old. It once was a factory and still has many of the unique quirks from it’s former days. Some of the features that sold me on this loft are the original hardwood floors, exposed brick and the industrial vibe. I’ve been trying to get settled in for the past month. And I’m proud to report that all the boxes are finally empty and it’s beginning to feel like home.
Two of my favorite things: paper and cake. Emily over at Bentobloggy designed an adorable cake inspired by one of my baby shower invitations. So sweet.
I’m an 80s child. In my toy chest, you could find Care Bears, Smurfs, My Little Pony, and the inspiration behind this color way, Rainbow Brite. She was one of my treasured toys, so it makes sense that this colorway is one of my favorites. Fun+ Cheery.

Isn’t she pretty? Elizabeth Hartman of Oh, Fransson! made this quilt. Amazing. You can purchase the pattern right here.
It’s that time of year. Brand new crayon boxes. Freshly sharpened pencils. And nervous energy in the air as everyone awaits to see how the school year unfolds. For teachers, students, parents and all . . . may your school year be filled with blessings galore!

Meet Rory. Isn’t she the cutest little girl? She’s wearing an outfit made out of the Remix fabric. One of the things I love about the Remix collection is that you can mix and match everything.
Fabric: Ann Kelle’s Remix Daisies and Dots
Pattern: No pattern. I was inspired by vintage children’s clothing.

Here are a couple of my new additions to the Metro Market line. The apple design was inspired by my favorite teachers in the world: my mom and sister. They both have asked me to sew them something using the fabric. I’m discovering that if people find out you’re learning how to sew, they want you to make them something. All I really want to do is make myself pretty little skirts and dresses.
My shelves are busting at the seams with all this new fabric. Here’s a peek of another line of fabric I have with Robert Kaufman, Urban Zoologie. Available in stores soon.
More fabric from my Remix collection.

Today was my first day of sewing class. The class was a bit overwhelming, but I think I may have found a new hobby.

Look what I picked up at a local visit to Target. Two new journals with my designs! My favorite part is the inside.
