my ballerina quilt
October 07, 2013
You see this quilt. Kelly made it. I’ve had it for awhile and I’ve been meaning to share it with you. My little ballerina girls were being camera shy. It has been nestled comfortably on my bed for the entire summer. The first morning I woke up after placing it on my bed, I saw all these little eyes looking at me saying “Good Morning, Kelle”. When I showed the quilt to my Mom, she said having this quilt on my bed was like I had a slumber party every night with my closest friends. I just love my girls. Kelly came up with the design of the quilt. We used the Ballerinas (“sweet” color way) as the primary fabric, mixed with coordinating Kona solids. Now that it’s Fall, I switched my bedding. But, this quilt isn’t far away. It’s bright, colorful and I hope to have it forever.

What an awesome use of these fabrics! Love it!
I LOVE it too, Christine. Thanks!
I love it as well. Such a simple design and so effective. I love the backing too!
Thank you, Laurie. Kelly did a great job!
So very cute!!! I have yardage of Superkids and I am thinking this would be a great way to use it for my granddaughter.
You are a young girl at heart–really and truely! I love that you put this on your bed–just so fun. It is an adorable quilt and I love the back!
Just a little:)
Ella would love this! Maybe I’ll eventually learn how to quilt.
Maybe Ella will be the quilter in your family:)
such a cute quilt, it would be very difficult for me to choose the right colors when mixing pastels with brights. This looks great,.
Thanks, Darci!
