Broadway in Soho is not the place you want to be in New York on a Saturday afternoon. It was so crowded. So, I started walking away from the busy, crowded streets and look what I found . . . an Orla Kiely store. Pure bliss. Orla Kiely opened a store in Soho in October 2011. I’m not sure if I’ll ever get to go to London, so being able to go to one of her stores was awesome. Plus, it was on my birthday. I wouldn’t be completely honest if I didn’t share that I acted like a complete goof in this store. Yes, it’s true. And I would do it all over again! But, in spite of my nutty behavior, the girls in the store were so sweet. I left with a big bag full of things and a big smile.

My sister would love that store! She lives in Scotland now…I wonder if she knows there is a store in London? I’ll have to tell her! How fun, and happy belated birthday!
