I’ve got a little crush on neon pink these days. But, I’m a little hesitant to make a big commitment to this ultra bright hue (i.e. neon pink sofa). So for right now, I’ve only incorporated neon pink into my life in subtle non-expensive ways, like stickers or earrings. These things will tie me over while I decide if I want to get a neon sofa.

Just in case you were wondering, I’m still all about pink. Pink is my best color friend. I hang out, I mean “design”, with pink the most. I like to surround myself with pink things. I gravitate towards pink. For example, I’m at the store picking up something for dinner and I see pink polka dotted tape. Coincidence? No way! More like destiny. Yep, pink is definitely my best color friend. What’s your best color friend?

My Mommy is so thoughtful. She bookmarks things out of her magazines to share with me when we see each other. She doesn’t really like pink, but knows her daughter well. (Come to think of it, I don’t think she has any pink in her closet or house, which is criminal really.) Anyhow. She gave me her Good Housekeeping magazine which had an article on pink. The only room in my home that has pink is my studio. But, I’ve decided to add speckles of pink in my bedroom as well. Lots of inspiration in this magazine.

Here’s how to make $20 shoes in less than 5 minutes. To start out, buy a pair of inexpensive shoes or use an old pair. I saw these shoes but thought they looked kinda childish . . . okay, okay, this might be because they ARE kid’s shoes. Anyhow. They were pink. For your pendant, use an old pair of big earrings or buy a cheap pair.
1. Take off any adorning pendants
2. Put the ear clip on your shoe to get an idea of where the pendant will be. Mark the place where to glue the pendant.
3. Glue the pendants to the ear clips. I used super glue, but a hot glue gun might work.
4. Allow time to dry.
5. Do a happy dance in your new shoes

I have a crush on the colors pink and yellow. The other day I woke up with these two colors on my mind. (I’m thinking about adding these colors to my all white bedroom.) Later in the day I went to Borders to peek around at their closing sale. When I left the store, I looked in my bag and noticed that almost everything was pink and yellow. It’s funny how the mind works. What two colors do you have a crush on?
