HANDMADE HOLIDAYS: {pot holders}

December 12, 2011

Name: Pot Holders
Gift for: The “cook,” chocolate lover, teachers, someone sweet, or your favorite cookie maker.
Fabrics Used: Lollipops and Ice Cream Cones from Dessert Party
Tutorial: Free tutorial available here

Oven pads are a quick and easy sewing project. But, to turn this into a great gift item, package these oven pads with a box full of sweets that you either made or purchased from a bakery. You could also include a gift certificate to favorite bakery for an added bonus. Sweets for a sweetie!

Did you know an oven mitt pattern is available (for free) in the Insul-Bright package? Pretty sweet.

    There is no pattern on the PDF. It just has directions, but no pattern.

      Hi Erica, You are correct. To make the pot holders, you are to cut 4 – 6″ squares for the main part of the pot holder. Let me know if that helps! Thanks and Happy Holidays.
