2011 things

January 31, 2011

Sometimes I forget to stop and smell the roses. I forget to look around and take note of all that I have to be thankful for. So, I’ve decided to challenge myself this year. I’m going to create a list of 2011 things I’m thankful for.  You’re welcome to join me.

So, here’s the math. There are 365 days in a year; 52 weeks in a year. You’d have to come up with a little less than 6 things a day ( or 42 things a week) to stay on track for 2011 things for the year.  I’ll be sharing my list with you weekly.

Awesome idea, in November, some of my facebook friends and I took a Thanksgiving challenge of things we were thankful for. It was very interesting to see what everyone had to say.

What a great idea! I try to be thankful all the time, but this will really make us more aware of the little things we’re thankful for – like caterpillars or warm socks or your hubby turning on the dishwasher!

I’m thankful for YOU and your beautiful creations. 🙂

I love this idea! I think I will post on my FB page, will be neat to see what my friends are thankful for! In this day and age we sometimes forget all the things we’re thankful for, so THANK YOU for the reminder to do that! 🙂

Hmmmm I find myself in a similar position. I seem to find fault with mostly everything right now SO I accept your challenge to find 2,011 things to be thankful for and I start TODAY.
Thank you Ann Kelle…..and keep up the good work, your fabrics are awesome 🙂

I’d like to see everyone in the world being thankful for what we each have instead of all the hurtful, ungrateful things around each of us.!! Thank you for a wonderful idea.
